Abbey Boilers Gas Safe qualified service engineers are ready and able to carry out servicing and repair to all gas fires including Radiant, DFE and flueless gas fires.

Installation Requirements: All gas appliances must be installed by a GAS SAFE Registered Engineer. Abbey Boilers engineers are fully qualified, insured and uniformed. Our engineer will ensure that all of the requirements set out in the manufacturer's installation manual can be met before an install.

Important aspects are that the chimney or flue system ventilation and gas pipes and gas pressure are within safety margins. By using a Abbey Boilers qualified engineer your install you can ensure that your gas fire is installed correctly and will operate safely and reliably. All our Gas safe Engineers are regularly audited to ensure they are working in line with the current regulations. Our gas safe engineer is the person who takes overall responsibility for the product once the gas is connected and the user allowed to operate the appliance. Please note that an untrained person installing or connecting a gas appliance, it dangerous and will invalidate your home insurance.

Abbey Boilers Servicing: We recommend that all gas fires are serviced every 12 months. This should be done regardless of how often the fire has been used in the last 12 months. There are number of issues which can effect a gas fire's functioning correctly, reliably and safely. Blockages in the gas pipes, gas leaks, chimney blockages, gas pressure drops can all be identified and rectified during a service by one of our qalified engineers.
